The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson have hundreds of members who attend one of four club locations. They serve low to moderate income youth with programming in character, leadership, education, life skills, the arts and sports. The impact on the lives of these youth ranges from a new sense of self-esteem and higher academic achievement to youth being directed away from gang involvement.

Leftovers, etc. is a community-based educational and environmental resource and learning center that provides free and affordable, traditional and non-traditional, school supplies for use as learning tools to public and private school educators, home school educators, early childhood educators, and organizations working with low-income parents. They provide instruction in developmentally appropriate, educational, family-centered activities for low-income, at risk and special needs youth. They also support local and national artists seeking “found objects.”

The Upcycle Exchange is a social enterprise that aims to benefit the St. Louis area’s creative community by offering post-consumer materials at pay-as-you-wish pricing and optional purchase credits for in-store material drop-offs. They collect the most frequently requested items from individual crafter wish-lists compiled over the course of the last 3 years.
