Abilities Unlimited helps individuals with disabilities recognize their abilities, improve their quality of life and become productive members of their community. They help create jobs and encourage a strong and positive work ethic, a sense of one’s own personal responsibility and an individual’s commitment to contributing to their community. Abilities Unlimited also runs two resale stores that provide a training ground for the clients in their work programs.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. They partner with parents, guardians, volunteers and others in the community to help each child in their program achieve higher aspirations, greater confidence, better relationships and educational success with the avoidance of risky behaviors.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. They make meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, who develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

Ouachita Children’s Center provides quality services for abused, neglected and troubled youth that empowers them to achieve success in their home, community, school and vocation by teaching accountability, respect and trust. They provide both residential and non residential services to clients including a 24 hour emergency shelter, family needs assessments, case management and therapeutic interventions.

Project Compassion brings joy, companionship and quality of life to residents of nursing homes. Over 300 volunteers provide one-to-one visitation, assist with group activities such as cards, crafts, bingo, and pet and music therapies. They also provide clothes and clothing protectors (bibs) to help maintain residents’ dignity at mealtime.
