They are recognized nationally as a leader in the integration of housing, healthcare, support services and child care for persons experiencing homelessness.

The Denver Rescue Mission is changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need, with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens. Denver Urban Ministries provides emergency and stabilization services for all people in need. They provides food, rent/utility assistance, infant items, and legal advice to enable those in crisis to reach a level of stabilization. Staff and volunteers also work with each family to offer internal and external referrals to meet all of a family’s needs.

The Family Crisis Center provides a range of services and settings that offer hope and opportunity for children and their families. Their residential programs serve boys and girls from age 10 through age 18 by providing temporary shelter while they are awaiting a more permanent placement setting and therapeutic services to the child and family.

The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Denver along with over 50 congregations, assist homeless families by providing temporary shelter, meals, transportation and assistance finding work, housing, counseling and supportive services.

Sacred Heart House of Denver offers a continuum of services to homeless mothers with children and single women, who have the desire and commitment to become self-sufficient. They provide temporary, emergency housing, food and clothing. They also provide case management and referrals to resources within the community, so that the women can identify and begin solving problems that led to their homelessness. Through the Follow-Up Program and the Transitional Housing Program, former residents receive continued support in their struggle to live independently and successfully.
