The St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program (HELP) provides individuals with mobility problems and disabilities access to free home medical equipment through their recycle and reuse program, enabling them to live as independently as possible and remain contributing members of the community. They receives donations of new and used medical equipment from individuals and businesses, refurbishes and cleans the equipment and then loans the equipment, at no cost or fee, to community members both young and old from all walks of life.

Thanks in part to a grant from the Florida Alliance for Adaptive Services and Technology (FAAST), Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida loans adaptive equipment to people with disabilities.

HELP is a service of Austin Groups for the Elderly. The project loans durable medical equipment and incontinence products to elderly and disabled people in Central Texas. In 2010, over 1,100 pieces of equipment were provided to people in need across Central Texas.
