Fighting Cancer encourages and provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support to cancer patients, survivors, their caregivers and friends. They visit new chemotherapy patients at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the first day of treatment and deliver a sunshine box to them. All volunteers who deliver the boxes have had experience with cancer, either as a survivor or caregiver.

Military families can use coupons up to six months after they have expired. The Overseas Coupon Program serves military families by assisting you in forwarding manufacturer’s coupons to overseas military bases.  These bundles of coupons are placed on tables, at the PX/ BX and Commissary, or handed out for use by military members and families on base.  This helps the family save valuable dollars and stretch their budget.  Be sure to send only clipped coupons.

Red Racks Thrift stores are owned and operated by the Disabled American Veterans, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of our nation’s veterans. When you shop or donate to Red Racks you’re helping provide education, housing, health and rehabilitation services at no cost to our military veterans. They also recycle just about everything under the sun, from old t-shirts to console televisions and everything in between.

Send just the fronts of any used cards you have to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children at Recycled Card Program, 100 St Jude’s St, Boulder City, NV 89005.  They take all types of greeting cards except for Hallmark, Disney or American Greetings.

The Recycled Card Program is for the children at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children to learn entrepreneurship skills. The children participate in making the new cards by removing the front and attaching a new back. The result is a beautiful new card made by the children and volunteers. The benefits are two-fold: customers receive green holiday cards for use and the children receive payment for their work and learn the benefits and importance of going green.
